Pegasus Journal

Pegasus is the Regimental Journal of the Parachute Regiment and is published three times a year with two Journals and one YEARBOOK. The YEARBOOK is now dedicated to the PRA and the Journals also carry important PRA news as well as Obituaries and Last Post. Subscription details through this link.

Airborne Engineers Association

The AEA objectives are to maintain contact between former and current members of the Corps of Royal Engineers, to foster mutual friendship and support , to provide a focus for social and other gatherings of members of the Association, to provide assistance to members of the Association who require access to welfare support and to preserve the memory and traditions of airborne units of the Corps of Royal Engineers.

Project 65

Project 65 has been created to honour D-Day Veterans in particular the men who took part in the Coup de Main operation to capture the bridges over the Caen Canal and River Orne in the first combat operation of D-Day 65 years ago. The bridges are nowadays known as Pegasus and Horsa Bridges. A team of over 200 sponsored runners will leave Tarrant Rushton Airfield on June 4th 2009 and run 65 miles to arrive at Pegasus Bridge to celebrate and commemorate the 65th Anniversary of D-Day on June 6th 2009. This ultra-run is titled the 'RUN TO PEGASUS'

Formed in 1982 by the Thatcher Government, The Home Service Force (HSF) was intended purely as a Home Defence unit to be use to guard key points throughout the UK. After disbandment in 1993, many HSF units formed their own associations ... the website is now a focus point for any Parachute Regiment trained soldier.

Palace Barracks Memorial Garden

A quiet corner of a Holywood Army base has become a poignant place of pilgrimage for the bereaved families of security force personnel killed in the Troubles and other conflicts around the world.
The foundations for the memorial garden in Palace Barracks were laid in 1994.The memorial stones themselves are all made from South Africa granite.Garden and website are maintained on a voluntary basis. The custodian and webmaster are both former soldiers.
